my story
raised in the Appalachian mountains
I grew up surrounded by the sounds of local bluegrass, folk, and storytelling traditions that helped shape my love of song.
When I turned 18 I left the mountains to study and perform as an opera singer. In doing so I was able to experience the world and music in ways i'd never dreamed possible. My operatic journey took me all over the world and to many different stages.
While I still enjoy performing other people's stories, I now tell my own. I moved to Nashville after COVID to add songwriter to my resume and in March of 2025 I released my first EP "Bottom of the Bottle."
